Reuzel The Mohawk
The mohawk has a long history and is still found around the world amongst different tribes and religions.
With the sides either shaved or plucked and a strip of hair in the middle left longer, usually from forehead
to the nape area, it has always been a haircut that stood out in a crowd. A lot of variations have evolved from
faux hawk worn by overpaid soccer players, to dread and deathhawks on stoners and goths.
The real “rebirth” of the Mohawk was through
the second wave of punk, an answer
to all the hippie’s long hair and beards
- a way to show they were on the war path
with their aggressive look.
